Release Notes: Execute selected cases from Test Rail, Settings AI Subsection, Support for FTP upload/download files

Execute selected cases from TestRail

We released the ability to run specific test cases from TestRail. Previously, any test run triggered from TestRail executed all enabled test cases in testRigor. Now, you can select the test cases in a TestRail to create a new run in testRigor.

  • Once you have the integration set up, go to ‘Test Rail Project’ -> ‘Test Runs & Results’ and click ‘Add Test Run’: More information about the integration set up here.

  • On ‘Test Runs & Results’ page, make sure to check ‘Run on testRigor’  and ‘Select Specific test cases’:

  • The panel below will be populated with the test cases from the suite linked to the TestRail Project, select only the test cases you’d like to run and voilà!

Check the testRigor suite to evaluate the results.

Settings (New AI Subsection)

We’ve made a few changes to the Settings section. The main one you’ll notice is the ‘AI’ tab where all existing and new AI functionality can be found. There you can change the following settings:

  1. Test Generation Settings
  2. Detect broken screen
  3. Automatically detect UI issues using Vision AI on every page
  4. Cap Vision AI-detected UI issues
  5. Use Machine Learning for button classification
  6. Dropdown detection strategy
  7. Use OCR text recognition
  8. Search for synonyms if an element is not found

Support for FTP upload/download files

We added download file and upload file commands with support for HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS and SFTP protocols.
